Specs Direct was established in 1985 and is a progressive and successful independent company with considerable experience within the optical business.
We are a growing and well established business based in Whitefield, Manchester with a loyal, local and countrywide customer base. We are a family run business who believe in providing top quality customer service and top quality spectacles & lenses, giving our customers value for money.
A high percentage of our customers have been with us for a number of years and a high percentage of new customers have been through recommendations from our existing customers.
We are small enough to treat customers as individuals but with our professional knowledge and business partnerships we are able to give our customers technical expertise and the very best products.
Our onsite glazing equipment enables us to give our customers a 'while you wait' service which means you can walk away from as little as 15 minuets with your complete glasses.
As a company we invest in training and continuous improvements to ensure all our staff have up to date knowledge.
All our opticians have been qualified for over 20 years and regularly attend professional training to ensure they are giving our patients the most up to date services. This allows us to also offer health appointments for minor eye conditions as well as offering full eye test and contact lens service, you can read more about what services we offer and how to book these in the 'Our Services' section of the website. All our testing rooms are fitted with the lasted equipment so which means we can carry out pressure tests, fundus photos and field of vision test as required.
